In the one month anniversary of the revolution's outbreak

and exactly two weeks after our ex-president stepping down

I write this post

but till now I am facing real psychological problems with this issue

انتوا احسن مننا كلنا
انتوا ضحيتوا بحياتكوا ومتوا عشان احنا نعيش
احنا هانعيش فى حياة احسن بسبب ربنا وبعدين انتوا

To our Martyrs
You're better than all of us
You've sacrificed your lives and died for us to live
We'll live in a better life just because of God and then you

Revolution's Art .. فن الثورة

الاف الصور والرسومات اترفعت فى التحرير

وكان فى معارض لعرض الرسومات واللوحات المؤيدة للثورة والمعارضة لنظام مبارك

يمكن اشهرها اللى كان عند كنتاكى وكان فيه مئات الرسومات

Thousands of pictures and drawings were at Tahrir

There were galleries for these drawings which supported the revolution against Mubarak's regime

Maybe the most famous gallery was nearby KFC .. and included hundreds of drawings

 

 

  بس اللى لفت نظرى اكتر من اللوحات المرسومة كان الرسم بالحجارة والكوبايات وحتى الجزم!

But what really drew my attention was drawing and formatting words with rocks, cups, and even shoes!

فن "الجرافيتى" او الرسم على الحوائط ده منعدم فى مصر

بدا يظهر بس مؤخرا من سنة تقريبا مع مجموعات التراس اهلاوى والتراس وايت نايتس

لكن الرسم على الارض بالفن ده والتشكيل بالحجارة بالدقة دى كان شئ ممتع جدا

خاصة لما يكون التشكيل بالوان علم مصر

Here in Egypt, we didn't have art of "Graffiti" or (drawing on walls)

 It started in Egypt from nearly one year with rising of (Ultras Ahlawy) and (Ultras white knights) .. football fans groups

but drawing and formatting with rocks on floor with this accuracy in this way was so enjoyable

especially with Egypt's flag colors

انا ما اهتميتش انى اصور اللوحات المرسومة اد ما حاولت اصور الحجارة وغيرها على الارض

وللاسف الصور مش كلها واضحة عشان الحاجات دى ماكانتش بتبقى فاضية وماعليهاش زحمة من الناس غير بالليل

I didn't care a lot with drawings as far as my interesting about rock and other formats

Unfortunately this taken pictures won't be in a good quality because it was very crowded there from people taking pictures for it in the morning so that I took these pictures at night

 اتمنى بس ان يبقى فى اماكن للفن ده انه ينتشر بعد كدة .. بس فعلا الطاقة اللى طلعت لاول مرة دى شئ ايجابى

وفى مصر مش كتير اللى بيقدر انواع الفن

I hope that this kind of art will continue after the revolution .. I really like this positive energy that have been discovered for the first time

and here in Egypt, there are not many people who appreciate art 

30 Years .. 30 سنة

30 سنة عصر الرئيس السابق محمد حسنى مبارك

يعنى المصرى اللى عمره 32 سنة دلوقتى ماشافش ف حياته غير مبارك

وبالشكل اللى كان ماشى كنا هانشوف جمال رئيس لمصر ف 2012

ومعاك ل2040!

يعنى اجيال واجيال فوق الاجيال

30 years were Mohamed Hosni Mubarak era
It means that any 32 years old Egyptian didn't see any other president but Mubarak

and it was supposed that we will see Gamal Mubarak succeeding his father in 2012

and till 2040!

it means generations and generations

ان كان والدى رضى بده ليا

فانا كان لا يمكن ارضى لاولادى يعيشوا تانى ف نفس النظام ده

ويمكن هما واحفادهم

كان لازم تغيير

وكان لازم النظام كله يتغير

مش مجرد رئيس يمشى وييجى رئيس تانى

كان لازم فكر المنظومة كله يتغير

If my father accepted this kind of life for me

I can't accept this for my children to live with the same regime

and maybe their children also

so .. change was a must

It was a must to remove the whole regime

It wasn't only about a president to go and another one to come

It was necessary for the regime to be changed entirely

فى التحرير .. شفت اطفال كتير بيهتفوا وبيغنوا ضد مبارك ونظامه

وطبعا مايعرفوش اى معلومة غير اللى اهاليهم بيقولوهالهم

اطفال 10 و 7 و 5 سنين بيهتفوا بكل حماس ضد مبارك

طبعا اغلبهم ان ماكانش كلهم على الارجح مش فاهمين هما بيقولوا ايه

بس عجبنى اوى .. منظر اب شاب بيتكلم مع ابنه - او اعتقد انه ابنه - وعمال بيفهمه كل حاجة

عن مبارك واحمد عز والحزب الوطنى

خلانى اضحك واخبط على كتف الراجل واشاورله بالابهام مع ابتسامة بمعنى برافو

الراجل بدوره ابتسم وقاللى "ماهو لازم .. عشان مايطلعش زينا ماكنش نعرف حاجة .. لازم الجيل الجديد يبقوا فاهمين من وهما صغيرين"

At Tahrir .. I saw many kids chanting and singing songs about Mubarak and his regime

And for sure they didn't know anything about what's going on except what their parents told them

10, 7, and 5 years old kids were chanting enthusiastically against Mubarak

off course most of them - probably all of them - didn't even understand what they're saying

But what really impressed me .. a young father talking to his son - or I think he was his son - and trying to explain everything to him

about Mubarak, Ahmed Ezz, and the National Party

I smiled and gave the man a thump up

he smiled and told me "I must do it .. to make sure he won't grow up brainwashed like us .. this new generation must understand everything from the early young stages"

الاطفال هم المستقبل

واذا كان الجيل القديم قال علينا - احنا الشباب - اننا شباب تافه ومش فاضى غير للهلس واستحالة نقدر نغير وان المستقبل مظلم وهانعيش فى خراب و..... الخ

فانا واثق ان الجيل الجديد اللى هما اطفال اليوم - شباب المستقبل - هايبقوا احسن مننا بكتير

لاننا اكيد هانساعدهم وندعمهم بالشكل اللى الجيل اللى قبلنا ماساعدناش ولا دعمنا بيه

Kids are the future

Elders said that we - Youth - are overshadowed and we only care about stupidities and it will be impossible for us to change and we've dark future and.... etc.

but I'm sure that the next generation, today's kids - future's youth - will be better than us

that's because we'll help and support them with the same support which we didn't have

مصر ان شاء الله هاتبقى دولة احسن بكتير ف ايد دول

Egypt will be a better country in these young people hands

بتاريخ 18 يناير

قبل انطلاق الثورة باسبوع كامل
 18th of January
One whole week before the revolution start
 

مصريين فى 18 يوم .. Egyptian in 18 days

 

كان الأمر كله يتعلق فقط بحب مصر
كان المصريون المشاركون فى التحرير طيلة 18 يوما من عشاق مصر
كل انواع الناس .. مسلمين ومسيحيين, أغنياء وفقراء, شباب وعجائز, رجال ونساء, سياسيون بأفكار معينة واخرون من اصحاب الفكر الحر
الكل اتفق على شئ واحد .. نحن هنا يد واحدة .. خليط واحد .. هدفنا واحد .. رحيل مبارك

It was all about loving Egypt
All Egyptian participated in Tahrir for 18 days were lovers for Egypt
All kinds of people .. Muslims and Christians, Rich and poor, youth and old, men and women, political partisans and others with free thoughts
All agreed on one thing .. we're all one hand .. one mix .. have one target .. Mubarak's leave

3 مليون مصرى فى التحرير
بلا سباب .. بلا تعدى احدهم على الاخر
بلا أى حالة سرقة .. بلا أى حالة تحرش
بلا أى محاولة للشجار وفرض الرأى .. بلا أى محاولة تخريب
هل لو كان هولاء - سكان التحرير - من المخربين .. لكان زجاج المحلات فى التحرير حتى الان بلا خدش واحد؟

3 Millions of Egyptian people in Tahrir
No insults .. No encroach
No theft .. No harassment
No fights to impose opinions .. No vandalism
If these people - Tahrir people - were vandals .. how come that Tahrir shops are now safe without even a scratch?

لقد كانت ثورة سلمية!
لم يكن هناك من أحد ليتخيل أن المصريين قادرين على فعل ذلك
18 يوما من التظاهر .. فقط التظاهر
لم يرفع أحدهم سلحا .. لم تطلق رصاصة واحدة
ونجحت

It was a peaceful revolution!
Nobody could have imagined that Egyptians can do it
18 days of protesting .. only protesting
no one used a weapon .. no bullets were fired
and it succeeded

على العالم الان ان ينظر على الاسلوب المصرى الجديد فى الثورة .. ويتعلم

Now world must look at the Egyptian model of revolution .. and learn

لا يمكن بأى حال من الأحوال أن أكتفى بتدوينة - او حتى عدة تدوينات - على مدونتى لأتحدث فيها عن عظمة الثورة

It will not take only a post on my blog to explain how great was the revolution

كان من اللازم أن تكون هناك مدونة كاملة للحديث عن الثورة

قصص, وأحداث, ومواقف, وروايات ممن كانوا شاهدين بأنفسهم على الأحداث ونزلوا بأنفسهم إلى الميدان ولم يكتفوا فقط بالاستماع الى الاخرين او قراءة بعض الصحف او مشاهدة بعض القنوات والتى قد يكون لأى منها ميول معينة فلن تنقل الصورة بنفس الدقة التى تراها العين المجردة

It was a must to have a whole blog to talk about the revolution
stories, and testimonies from those who were there! and didn't only read newspaper or watch TV channels which might be directed and won't tell the truth exactly as what it was really

الصور لا تكذب .. وعندنا العديد من الصور

والعديد من القصص لنحكيها

Pictures never lie .. and we have tons of pictures
and also tons of stories to tell

كنا هناك .. وشاهدنا ما حدث بأعيننا

شاهدنا بداية الثورة .. ومرورها بالعديد من المشاكل

شاهدنا كل أنواع البشر .. واستمعنا لكل الاراء

وشاهدنا ثورتنا تنجح!

We were there .. and we watched it by our own eyes
we watched the start of the revolution .. facing lots of problems
We saw all kinds of people .. and we listened to all opinions
we witnessed our revolution success!

لقد عشنا فى التحرير .. وعاش فينا

والان .. دعونا نسطر التاريخ

We lived at Tahrir .. and it lived in us
and now .. let's write history!
